i grew up coming here all the time. an alhambra classic! there's a wide variety of plates to try. here are some of my favorites:

loco moco- it's hamburger patties with an egg and gravy over rice. this is pretty good and savory!

breakfast plate with sausage- delish.

orange chicken or sesame chicken plate. this is good and i like the macaroni potato salad it comes with. rice is always fresh!

chili cheese fries, yum.

macadamia nut pancakes! this was a bit newer but once they started offering this people were obsessed.. the cream sauce is so good and the nuts on top give it a good crunch!

the burgers are yum too!

Small owned business with a very good breakfast menu! I give it a 10/10 for being a delicious hot meal. I personally got pancakes, eggs and hash browns.

Great hole in the wall great pancakes well worth it, also the musabi was delicious and coffee was good

My wife and I celebrated our one year wedding anniversary last month in Kona HI for a month and kept thinking about the vibes and food and the good times we had. So we came back and I've been looking for Hawaiian food spots nearby and you get the Ono's or L&L's of the world which is fine but I wanted something authentic. Enter Aloha Food Factory. We live in Rosemead and I've driven by this place many times on my way to work and finally decided to check it out yesterday and boy what a clutch choice I made. It's kind of a little unassuming building but when you go inside it brought be back to Kona. The music and the smell of food and everything else. Played it simple and got the Island plate with loco moco mac salad veggies and rice. Veggies were tops, gravy was tops, mac salad tops and the burger patty woooo boy. It looked like it was formed by hand instead of one of those perfectly cut out patties you find anywhere else. I never write reviews but I was in heaven. Two things would've made this better. 1. I'm not sure why the island plate didn't come with an egg for my loco moco 2. The biggest coldest lava flow I could find would've made me feel like I was sitting pool side again looking out at the ocean watching the sun set. I'm excited to try more of the menu (macadamia pancakes I'm coming for you). Luckily I have a slice of the island 10 minutes from my house. Mahalo

Ok ok ok...a friend told me about this place. SO glad he did! I never would have know otherwise and my life would be unknowingly worse off. This is definitely a taste of Hawaii...in Alhambra of all places. The welcoming vibes to the amazing dishes. So good. Cannot wait to go back and explore the rest of the menu. SO good

Went there for my birthday and the food and people were great. Get the short rib and garlic shrimp. The food was great but not exactly what we had when we were in Hawaii. Enjoy the food but don't expect you're getting the shrimp you would get at Romy's in North Shore.

My new fav! Love everything about this place, the food, the portion size, the fantastic service, and the warmness of the atmosphere.

The staff were super friendly and attentive which made my experience so relaxing.

I have family from Hawaii and have visited there often-- this place really transports you to there with their island hospitality and ono food
